"And the LORD listened to the voice of Israel and delivered up the Canaanites, and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. So the name of that place was called Hormah." Numbers 21:3

When the Canaanites attacked Israel they cried out to God, and God delivered the Canaanites into their hands. The destruction was great and the Israelites knew they were only successful in the battle because of the Lord, so they named the place "Hormah" meaning "Holy Destruction". The Canaanites were destroyed by the Lord.

When the enemy comes against us we have the ability to call on the Lord. And when we do we should expect "Hormah"; Holy Destruction! God is ready to fight for His people! Whatever form the enemy may take, and how ever he may come against us the Lord is always there to cause "Holy Destruction" for Him! If you find the enemy coming out against you toady call on the Lord for the "Holy Destruction" of the enemy!
