Untold...
"Then she said to the king: "It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom."However I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard." 1 Kings 10:6-7
Solomon, a king of Israel with wealth and wisdom the world had never seen, nor has seen sense. The queen of Sheba was from a distant land far from Solomon's empire. Yet as far away as she was word reached her of Solomon's wealth and wisdom. The stories she heard of Solomon were unimaginable to her, stories she may have thought to be only fables or exaggerations. The stories were so great that the queen decides to pack up and head out to Israel to see for herself. After arriving in Israel and meeting Solomon and seeing his kingdom she comes to the conclusion that the stories she heard in her own country did not do justice to the truth of Solomon's kingdom and wisdom. For the queen to have true understanding she had to experience the might of Solomon for herself.
We have a King like no other and His name is Jesus. His wisdom and riches are incomparable. There is none like Him! But for others to know of His wisdom and riches we must tell them. The queen of Sheba may never have known of Solomon if she would not have been told in her own country. There are countless out there who will never know of the wisdom of our Lord and the riches of His mercy and grace if we do not tell them. Tell someone today about Jesus! Tell them about the grace and mercy He has shown you. Tell them about His loving, guiding hand that rest upon you. Tell someone so they can experience the vastness of our King's wisdom and the riches of His mercy and grace. If you don't take time to tell others how will they ever experience the King of kings and Lord of lords for themselves? Don't wait for someone to come to church to hear about Jesus, tell them right where they are!
"Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name." Psalms 18:49
