"Now when the people complained, it displeased the LORD; for the LORD heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the LORD burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp." Numbers 11:1

The children of Israel began to complain and grumble when hard times came upon them. When God heard their complaining He became angry; then fire blazed up and burned the outer boundaries of the camp. They named the place Taberah, meaning blaze, because the fire of the Lord blazed up against them.

We often face trying times, hard times, but in all things our God is with us. Israel often forgot in the wilderness journey that God was with them. When thing were hard and when things were easy, God was always there with them. The same is true for us; God is always with us as we journey through this life. When things get hard we need only call out to Him, He is always there to help us. We don't need to complain and grumble, we need only turn to the Lord with our concerns. Let us always trust in God, praising His name in good and bad times, for our God is always good, and He is always right there to deliver us from whatever circumstances that may arise!
