"Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!"  

John 4:35

Jesus tells His followers to lift up their eyes and look at the harvest. As followers of Christ it is unfortunate that we take our eyes of the harvest. We put our eyes on other things that have no eternal value, and forget about the lost souls throughout this world. We forget that Jesus died for them, and wants them with Him. We forget that we have been entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation. As the body of Christ we must look up! The harvest is ready! There is no time to waste! We don't know how much time we have left, but we do know every day is a day closer. We must be about our Father's business! We can't afford to grow content living in our daily routines! We must get out there and shake things up for the Kingdom of God! Lift up your eyes brothers and sisters the harvest is ready and we are the laborers. Let us labor until our Lord returns. Let us here the words "well done good and faithful servant"!
