"And the people complained against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them. And there He tested them," Exodus 15:24-25

Again Israel finds themselves in need of God's provision. Israel had traveled three days through the wilderness and found no water. When they finally did find some it was not drinkable. God shows Moses a tree and tells him to throw it into the water. When Moses does as God tells him the water becomes drinkable. Moses was obedient to the Word of God and he and Israel received the blessing of God.

Again we see Moses being obedient to the Word, which activates the faith of God, which brings the blessing of God. The blessings of God always follow obedience to His Word. For it is only through faith that we can receive anything from God, and true faith is always demonstrated by our obedience! It is impossible to please God without faith, and without faith we shall receive nothing from God. Allow the Word of God to move you to action, and the faith of God will become active in your life. When this happens the blessings of God are ready to pour out upon you! If you want the blessing of God to be manifested in your life then obey the Word of God!

"For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance." Romans 8:24-25
