"And the LORD said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Exodus 14:15-16

With the Israelites camped with their back against the sea Pharaoh's heart is hardened once more. He gathers his army and goes to destroy the children of Israel. The people cried out and God told Moses to lift up his staff and stretch his hand over the sea and it would divide, and the children of Israel would go through the midst of the sea on dry ground. Moses did as God said, and it happened as God said it would. Moses followed the Word of the Lord and the children of Israel were delivered.

What if Moses would not have done as God said? It may not have turned out to good for the Israelites! But, Moses did as God said, and his people were delivered. When we obey the Word of God, the faith of God is activated in our life, and great things happen! This is the faith that parted the sea, and it is the same faith that moves mountains, it is none other than the faith of God! When we obey God's Word "Mountain Moving Faith" is activated in our life! When that happens the greatness of God will be revealed, as the blessings of God overtake us! Obey God's Word and you will see great and mighty things in your life!

"Then Samuel said: Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15:22
