"Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbor and every woman from her neighbor, articles of silver and articles of gold." Exodus 11:2

As God got ready to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt He was going to give them favor in the eyes of their Egyptian neighbors. They were going to receive so much favor that the Israelites would literally plunder the Egyptians without raising a finger! So, when the Israelites were released from Egypt they left with the wealth of Egypt, because of the favor God had granted them.

God is able to give us favor in the eyes of men. This favor will move other to bless us, and to work acts of kindness towards us. When the face of God shines on us, the favor of God comes. Other will want to bless us, and they will find themselves blessed when they do good to us. Favor given by God can open countless doors of opportunity that we could never open on our own. Through Jesus Christ we have received the favor of God, and the closer we get to God, the more that favor will show up in our life. If you want to live in favor draw close to God, and the favor of God and man will rest upon your life!

"Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing. And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians." Exodus 12:35-36
