"Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn. So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, 'Moses, Moses!' And he said, Here I am." Exodus 3:3-4

As Moses is shepherding the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law he sees the most peculiar sight; a bush on fire that was not burning up. Moses decides he'll stop what he's doing and go and see what was going on with this bush. When God sees Moses turn aside he calls to him from the bush, for the bush was ablaze with the presence of God. God had a desire to use Moses for great things, and He made the first step in getting his attention, but Moses had to make a choice to go to God.

God has saved us and called us all to serve Him. He calls to us, but it is up to us to answer. God desires to use us all, and will reveal Himself to whosoever turns to Him when He calls. The Bible says, "Many are called, but few are chosen." For few people will stop what they are doing to enter into a deeper relationship with God. God wants to use us. But, we must all make a choice to turn from our daily routines and listen to the voice of the All Mighty God. We must choose God over everything else. Listen for the voice of God as He calls out to you. Be aware of Him doing things to get your attention. Take a step towards God and He will use you in ways that will astonish you and everyone around you!
