"Then God spoke to Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob! And he said, Here I am. So He said, I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will put his hand on your eyes." Genesis 46:2-4

As Jacob receives word that Joseph is alive and prepares to go down to Egypt, God appears to him. Good assures Jacob that he won't be going alone, that He will be with him. God was going to go with Jacob as He reunited him with Joseph. And, it would be in Egypt that God would bless Jacob descendents. Jacob had no reason to fear going to Egypt, because God was going with him.

God is our shield and buckler! When God goes with us we have no reason to fear! No matter how crazy an idea may seem, if God has moved you to do it, relax, God is with you and you will prosper in whatever it is! If God tell you to go somewhere that seems dangerous and unsafe, don't worry, God is with you, you'll be ok! Whatever God moves you to do, or wherever He moves you to God, just trust Him knowing He is with you! If you will follow God, you will prosper in all you do! And, no matter where He sends you, you won't have to worry, because He will be with you!

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4
