"You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt." Genesis 41:40-41

After many disappointments and heart breaks, Joseph is finally delivered and promoted to rule in Egypt. Joseph had received a dream from the Lord that he would be a great ruler, and now after all the trials and tribulations, his season had arrived. Joseph went from the prison to the palace over night. What was seemingly impossible, God did in a day. Joseph had remained faithful to God and now God had rewarded his faithfulness by bringing his dream to life!

It is often that the trials and tribulations of life drowned out the dreams God has placed in our hearts. Through the disappointments of life we lose our faith in God and His Word, and begin to live a life that is self-gratifying. When we allow the trials of life to take control of us, we lose the dreams that have places in our hearts by God. When we live a self-gratifying life according to our own will, we miss out on all the promises of God declared throughout the Bible.

We will all face disappointment and trial in this life, not one of us is exempt. But, if we will stay faithful to God as Joseph did, we too will find the day when God's Word overtakes us, and the dreams and promises He has spoken to us by His Word and Spirit will become a reality in our lives! Trust God! Stay faithful! And in due season God will do the impossible in your life!

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Genesis 6:9
