"So Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him." Genesis 32:1

As Jacob continued his journey home, a band of angels met him. God had promised Jacob that He would be with him and God had sent His angels to make the way for Jacob. Jacob had already seen a vision of the angels of God ascending and descending in Bethel. God would continue to send His angels to minister to Jacob. Jacob would never be alone!

As Jacob was never alone, neither are we! We live as a House of God, with the Holy Spirit living inside us. Jacob named the place where he saw the angels ascending and descending Bethel, which means "House of God". When Jesus came into the world, He "Tabernacled" with us; meaning the House of God was with us. Jesus told Nathaniel that he would see an open Heaven with angels ascending and descending on Him. Why? Simply because He was the House of God. We too are living homes that God lives in, and upon us angels are ascending and descending carrying out God's commands in our life. We are never alone! Know today God is with you, and as a House of God you are living underneath an open Heaven, with angels ascending and descending on you! God is with you, and His blessings and mercies are being poured out upon you! You are blessed!

"For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone." Psalm 91:11-12
