"May God Almighty bless you, And make you fruitful and multiply you, That you may be an assembly of peoples; And give you the blessing of Abraham, To you and your descendants with you, That you may inherit the land In which you are a stranger, Which God gave to Abraham."  

Genesis 28:3-4

After Isaac had already blessed Jacob, as he gets ready to leave home he now blesses him again with the blessings of Abraham. The blessings God had given to Abraham, and then to Isaac would now be passed to Jacob. Jacob would become a great nation and God would bless him. He would become famous in the land and would be a blessing to many. God would bless those who blessed Jacob and curse those who came against him, and eventually through him all the families of the earth would be blessed a Jesus came forth into the earth. The blessing changed Jacob's life!

The blessings of Abraham that were passed to Jacob by Isaac are today passed to all believers by Jesus Christ. God is ready to make us great upon this earth, blessing all we put our hands to. He is ready to make us a blessing to others. God will bless those who bless us and God will rise up and fight for us when the enemy comes against us. And as we go forth in the Great Commission Jesus gave us all families of the earth will be blessed. The blessings of Abraham have been given to us, not because we deserve them, but because God loves us. Know today that you are blessed if you believe in Jesus. Choose today to live the blessed life that was purchased for you by the blood of Jesus!
