Boldly...
"Then he said, 'Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?' And He said, 'I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.'" Genesis 18:32
As God prepares to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah He reveals His plan to Abraham. Abraham immediately asks God to save the cities for the sake of only fifty righteous souls that may be living there. God agrees, but Abraham doesn't stop there. Abraham was not afraid to make his request known unto the Lord, he was bold, yet humble. Abraham would petition the Lord five more times, until the Lord agreed to spare the cities for only ten people.
Abraham's boldness teaches us not to be afraid when talking to God. We should always stay humble before the Lord, but we are able to come before him without fear, knowing we are approaching someone who loves us. Abraham was a friend of God, so Abraham wasn't afraid to talk to God. Whatever your heart's desire may be, tell God. Come before the Lord free of doubt and fear, with a heart full of humility and respect for the Lord, and make your request known.
"You have given him his heart's desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips." Psalm 21:2
