The winter just flew by here or perhaps it would be more accurate to say it got washed away but in either case, spring is just around the corner and the horses (and I) are looking forward to some sun.

When we last "spoke" I let you know about some new offerings and asked a question of you as well. Below I'm going to share a little about my reflection on said question and as promised, let you know about more great opportunities for 2014.

It's the year of the Wooden Horse, so let's begin...
Equus...
Destination. Journey.
or BOTH?

In the December newsletter I posed this question and got a variety of responses - thank you to those who wrote in and to all of you for your consideration.

Start your journey with a smile...

What I came to for myself - well to be honest, the horses made it so clear - was that for me, horses are the Journey yet if we can make our way while being attuned and aligned in heart, mind and spirit, is that not also the Destination? To be honest, it is this joining of journey and destination that horses are so adept at teaching as they guide us to... and along.

The magic is that each day there is a different journey and as a result, a different destination. Lao Tzu says, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single (first) step." AND... also... with the first heart beat... with the first breath... with the first thought...

I have found my journey and destination with horses has more often been an inward one in which I may never actually traverse geographical terrain. The landscapes are internal and from this place, a centaurian connection is formed. A Chiron's Way if you will.

So in this, I agree with Klaus when he says... the inner path towards self mastery is the one true path towards horses. Authentic mastery with a horse means first self mastery.

And... who better to journey with, towards and within the destination of self-mastery, than a horse.

*NB: A friend sent me the above photo that came through FB so I don't know who to credit for it but wherever and whoever you are - thank you for the smile.

It Starts TODAY...

I was recently interviewed about Whole Brained Horsemanship for the 2014 Healing with Horse Tele-Summit: The 2nd Annual Online Gathering of over 15 experts in the field of EGD/EFW/EAP.

This 3 week Equine-Assisted Extravaganza starts TODAY,  Monday, March 10th with our beloved Barbara Rector. I adore Barbara - she taught here at Chiron's Way far too many years ago and we miss her. She is a sage and wise woman and the perfect person to get us started.

Barbara and Lamare sharing their wisdom at Chiron's Way.
An exciting educational audio session will be unveiled every day, sharing new ideas, activities, and inspiration to take your equine practice to the next level.

My interview will be available for free for 48 hours on Monday, March 24th and our good friend Mark Mottershead from Horse Conscious will be speaking on March 16th when he'll be unveiling the business building program we've been developing for you over the last many months.

You can visit the summit schedule to see the lineup by CLICKING HERE

If you can't make all the sessions - don't worry. You can listen & learn anytime by downloading the entire Summit Series SET.

Both options are available so sign up for FREE to listen to each call within 48 hours or download your Summit Series SET. Details can be found at the the above link.

I hope to see you there!

Flowtrition Seminars
Level 1 and 2
at Chiron's Way
with Dr. Lance Wright

FLOW is a gentle touch that allows for the integration of life experiences stored in the body as tension. It is a means of finding the touch, nutrition, and thoughts that encourage growth and evolution of the individual. As a result, people and animals notice significant shifts with improved health and well being.

You will come away from the Basic Flowtrition Course with a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Flowtrition. You will be prepared to do Flowtrition with people, as well as animals and if you decide to learn more, you can continue on with the Level 3-Level 6 seminars. After meeting certain requirements, a person can become a Certified Flowtrition Practitioner for people, and/or animals.

Please register right away if you are interested in joining us as Lance needs to know numbers by March 15.

Upcoming Workshops and Training....

Amongst the 2014 offerings is a series of Conscious Horsemanship Trainings scheduled in Vancouver and Australia, the NAEFW Certification Training (Explore Level 1 and Engage Level 2) dates are now up and they include the exciting new Whole Brained Horsemanship Training.

Also, the online training program Mark Mottershead and I have created to help you grow your equine businesses in 2014 will be introduced during our live webinar on March 30th.

Mark will be writing to you on my behalf in the next week or so with all the details as I am heading away with my family for spring break. My oldest daughter Ashley is graduating this year so we want to make sure we have time together as a family before the busy-ness of university sets in.
Ash with her bunny and Grace...
who is still watching over us as we grow.

I've been asked for years to offer another drum making workshop locally so save the date! June 20-22 we'll have a 3 day workshop here over the summer solstice. Space will be limited to 12 and there will be a registration deadline in early May so click here  to get the details.

Here is the workshop calendar link.
