Club Ed on Thursday, April 25
St. Anne's School students will dismiss at noon on Thursday, April 25. The remainder of the afternoon is a professional day for staff. Club Ed is available from noon dismissal until 3:00, and after care is available for registered students until 6:00. There is no AEP. Please call the front office or email Georgette Koelker at gkoelker@St.AnnesSchool.org to reserve your spot.

Fourth Grade Visits the Government and State House
Before break, our Fourth Grade students headed over to the Government House and State House to learn more about the history of Maryland, which they have been studying throughout the year. Leading Edge Education Summit
Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m.
Families are invited to join us at the culminating event of our 20th Anniversary, our Leading Edge Education Summit. Three educational experts will hold a panel discussion on research-based strategies for raising and educating intellectually, socially and emotionally healthy children. The panel will feature Dr. JoAnn Deak, a brain development expert and author, Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair, an internationally recognized clinical psychologist, school consultant and author, and Deborah Roffman, a master teacher, author and expert on sexuality education.
The panel will begin at 7 p.m. Wine and refreshments will be served. We encourage you to invite your friends and spread the word about this exciting event! Tickets are $10 for the general public.

Special Dress Day: EC/LS - Math Concepts, MS: Decade Dress Friday, April 12
Our next Special Dress Day is Friday, April 12. In Early Childhood and Lower School, we're honoring National Math Month and students are invited to dress in a way that celebrates their favorite math concept - numbers, patterns, shapes are just a few ideas! Middle School students are invited to wear "decade dress" in the decade that corresponds with their grade level: Fifth Grade - 50s, Sixth Grade - 60s, Seventh Grade - 70s, Eighth Grade - 80s.

SPIRIT NIGHT at Annapolis Smokehouse Wednesday, April 17
Our next SPIRIT NIGHT will be right down the road at the new Annapolis Smokehouse in the Bay Ridge Shopping Center. Dine in and mention that you're with St. Anne's School and 15% of the proceeds will be donated back to our school. Thanks for your support and don't forget to show your shield!

A Year with Frog and Toad Friday, April 19, 7 p.m.
All families are invited to join us for a performance of A Year with Frog and Toad, presented by our Eighth Grade class. The musical will start at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 19.

Monday, May 13 at 8 a.m.
Calling all golfers and tennis players! We'll be hosting a Golf Tournament and Tennis Round Robin on Monday, May 13 to honor our 20th anniversary and raise funds to support faculty professional development.
The tournament is being held at the Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville. Registration opens at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast and Bloody Mary bar. The golfing begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. and the tennis tournament kicks off at 10 a.m. We'll end the day with lunch and an awards ceremony at 2 p.m.
