Sibling Admissions 
This time of year is a great time for St. Anne's School families with children who are not currently enrolled to consider applying for 2013-20143 admissions. Save the Date: PA Holiday Party 
Tuesday, December 11, 6:30 p.m. 
The Parents Association will host its annual Holiday Party on Tuesday, December 11 at Bin 201 in the Parole Town Centre. The wine tasting will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost at attend is $10, which will cover a sampling of 6 holiday wine, as well as a cheese sampler. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share.

If you miss online registration, don't worry! Walk in registration is available on the day of the race, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Whether you're running, walking, volunteering or just cheering your friends and family members on, we hope to see you at our Run for Sarah this Saturday, November 17! Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m., and the 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk will begin at 8:45 a.m.

Farewell Eaton!
Last Wednesday marked Eaton's last day at St. Anne's School. Eaton is a service dog that is being raised by Donna Davis, our Science Teacher and Director of Service Learning. Eaton has been training at St. Anne's School since the beginning of last year.

Today is Spirit Night at Ledo's Pizza on Cherry Grove Rd. in Annapolis! Dine in or carry out and 25% of the total sales will be donated back to our school! Thanks for helping support St. Anne's School! 

                    


Special Dress Day
Friday, November 16 
Mark your calendars for our next Special Dress Day! On Friday, November 16, Lower School students are invited to dress up as their favorite character from a book in celebration of National Children's Book Week. Middle School students are invited to dress in their class colors:

  • Sixth Grade: Blue
  • Seventh Grade: Red

Kindergarten - Eighth Grade Grandfriends Day
Tuesday, November 20, 8:30 a.m. 
Grandfriends of Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 20 to learn more about St. Anne's School, spend time in their grandchild's classroom and hear some musical performances from our chorus and band ensembles. All families are invited to attend our annual Thanksgiving Chapel. Join us at 11 a.m. for this special service.

                    


Used Coat Drive Coordinated by the Seventh Grade 
This year, our Seventh Grade class will be coordinating a school-wide used coat drive. Used coats of any size, baby through adult, will be collected at school. Our Seventh Grade students will organize the coats that will then be sent to Admiral Cleaners where they will be cleaned and distributed to those in need. Coats will be collected on Tuesday, November 27 and Wednesday, November 28.

                    


Christmas Decoration Drive 
Do you have extra ribbon, bows or left over holiday ornaments? St. Anne's School Parents Association is collecting these items in preparation for Santa's Workshop, an annual holiday event full of crafts, fun, and of course, Santa! Donations can be dropped off in the Parents Association room. Thank you!

Please join us at our annual Santa's Workshop at St. Anne's School. The day will include Breakfast with Santa, shopping at the workshop, cake walk, lollipop tree, crafts, vendors, pictures with Santa and tons of FUN!!!

Our annual holiday plant sale will be held at this year's Santa's Workshop. Order your holiday greens today, pick up your wreath at Santa's Workshop and decorate it with some bows and ornaments before you leave! EC Family Breakfast and Parent Education Workshop
Friday, December 7, 8:15 a.m. 
Mark your calendars for EC (Preschool and Prekindergarten) Family Breakfast! On Friday, December 7, we invite parents to join us in the classroom for our Open House Breakfast from 8:15 - 8:45 a.m. That morning, you may drop off your child on the playground and help yourself to some goodies in the EC hallway. You may then head down to the classroom to chat with each other, peruse our class books, check our bulletin boards, and participate in a few fun open-ended activities. Please be aware, this is a time for parents, so make childcare arrangements for younger siblings.

Following the EC Family Breakfast, we encourage you to attend our Parent Education Workshop: Independent School 101. Join us to learn about the inner workings of an independent school. We will discuss how our budget is created, how we're governed, how our curriculum is developed, and how you can become involved.
