A Letter from the AHMA 2014 Conference Chair
|
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about the changes I see in health care. All around me, the walls are coming down. Providers are coming together with renewed enthusiasm for their work and for the transformation of a broken system. Together we are moving from a sick care system to a collective community focused on serving, educating and facilitating health and wellbeing for humanity and the planet we inhabit. For all the challenges that lie ahead, this is the change in health care that I want to be part of. And the AHMA members are the people I want to walk with. Won't you join us? Read more

Students are integral to the future of this movement and of integrative holistic health care. Getting exposure to more seasoned practitioners at an AHMA meeting and in a collaborative environment may be the spark that leads to a lifetime of practicing medicine not only with passion but from the heart, the essence of holistic integrative care. Holistic
Medicine
And You Need Each Other
|
You know why you joined AHMA. You know why you practice medicine as you do. More and more, people - your patients - are looking for the integrative, holistic approach to managing their health. At each AHMA retreat, we realize that you, as well as each member, need one another to remain whole, healthy, and able to help others. AHMA doesn't have chapters in every state, however, we want to help you connect with like-minded professionals whenever and wherever possible. So please, help us help you. If you want to start a chapter in your area, please contact Steve Cadwell; bookmark our calendar and check it often to find helpful events and opportunities to earn CMEs or other applicable education credits. To place events on our calendar that others might benefit from, send an email to Claudia. Thanks for helping us connect you with other members!
