/ SAMSUNG ON TRACK TO MOVE IN SUMMER 2015
#northsj

Samsung's new semiconductor research and development hub in North San Jose is slated to open July 2015. The energy-efficient campus is comprised of an amenity pavilion and parking garage. The design encourages interaction among staff and invites the community on campus with cafes and a Samsung expo. The 10-story tower will house 2,000 Samsung employees and will be divided into two sections: R&D and sales. A courtyard will connect the building together, creating a central gathering place and the design allows for each Samsung employee to easily access green space. Designed by architecture firm NBBJ, the campus project removes the "parking-centric" focus of designing a campus and is designed to encourage spontaneous run-ins that foster creative collaborations that may lead to meaningful innovations.  For more information, click here, or contact Chris Burton, Senior Business Development Manager.
