MOVES TO SOUTH SAN JOSE

#sjedenvale

Edgewater Networks has moved its headquarters from Santa Clara to a 37,500 square-foot facility in San Jose's Edenvale Technology Park area to accommodate its rapidly growing workforce. The company grew 50 percent in 2013 and anticipates an additional 25 percent in 2014. Dave Norman, CEO of Edgewater Networks, anticipates the Edenvale location will help the company access talented new employees. "Edgewater Networks recently faced the challenge of expanding to new and larger headquarters. We looked at multiple locations, and found the Edenvale Technology Complex a great solution. With its seamless access to talent, Edenvale provided the luxury of a reverse commute and a beautiful park-like setting," said Norman. "The support we received from the City of San Jose was unparalleled. The city staff's support in expediting permits and approvals to meet our extremely aggressive timeline was invaluable. The team at the Office of Economic Development went above and beyond at our launch with press support and the participation of Mayor Chuck Reed in our ribbon cutting ceremony." To read more, click here. / SAN JOSE WELCOMES DUBLIN LORD MAYOR | NEW SISTER CITY LINK WITH GUADALAJARA

#sjinternational
Highlighting San Jose's strong economic linkages with Mexico,  San Jose established a new Sister City affiliation with Guadalajara, which is Mexico's center of information technology. San Jose is Guadalajara's largest trading partner among U.S. metro areas and exports to Mexico have doubled in the past three years.
In addition, San Jose and Guadalajara both have a Sister City relationship with Dublin, Ireland, which will allow the three cities to collaborate in economic development, educational and cultural initiatives. On a recent visit to San Jose, Dublin's Lord Mayor and a 22 member delegation met with several area companies, business leaders and city officials.
