COMMUNITY MOVES TO HELP LAW ENFORCEMENT

BIBB COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -
Fundraising efforts are underway to help protect law officers in Bibb County.
After hearing about the need for new body armor from her dad who works at the sheriff's office, Lacey Cash started a GoFundMe account to help raise funds for that armor including ballistic vests for Bibb County, Centreville, Brent, Woodstock and West Blocton police departments.

Alabama remains peaceful as racially-charged violence sweeps the nation.
Alabama's relative peace during this tumultuous time can be attributed to several factors, but perhaps at it's core it comes down to the fact that most of the state's residents still believe we're accountable to God.
Unfortunately, that may be the most radical idea in America today.

Brent Civitan Club
Brent Civitan Club received a report from Bibb County Extension Office Coordinator Matt Hartzel. Mr. Hartzel briefed about program areas such as 4-H & Youth Development, Agriculture, Disasters, Home & Garden and Extension Programs in Bibb County such as 4-H programs, Food Safety, Nutrition & Individual Client Assistance and areas of home grounds, gardens & pests.
