http://www.charismanews.com/

The Alabama Supreme Court order upholding the marriage laws of Alabama and ordering the probate judges to comply with those laws still remains in effect despite some media reporting the opposite.

On March 12, 2015, the Alabama Supreme Court issued a third order directing that "all probate judges" in the state are subject to the March 3, 2015, order and that they must immediately cease issuing same-sex marriage licenses.

"Magic City" to Return April 6th
http://www.al.com/news/birmingham

Not many will remember 60 years ago when this large gateway sign welcomed visitors to Birimgham, Alabama and proudly proclaimed Birmingham the "Magic City".

The "Magic City" sign is coming back!

The opening of the much-anticipated greenway through downtown Birmingham will be welcomed on April 6th, 2016 with a ribbon-cutting and the lighting of a replica of the iconic "Birmingham the Magic City" sign.

The trail is just one segment of a greenway that will ultimately connect the CrossPlex venue in Five Points West to Sloss Furnaces near the city center.
