On Thursday, Governor Robert Bentley plans on making a major Tuscaloosa-area jobs announcement.
Sources state that a big auto parts supplier is coming to Tuscaloosa County bringing with it over 600 jobs. The supplier will build door panels for Mercedes and other vehicles.

Brent Civitan Club's August Guest Speaker was Susan Sprailing, daughter of Dean James E. Foy.
Susan spoke about the James E. Foy,-ODK (Omicron Delta Kappa) Sportsmanship Foundation and Trophy,
more commonly known as the Foy-ODK Sportsmanship Trophy, is awarded annually to the winner of the Iron Bowl football rivalry game between the University of Alabama and Auburn University.
