Things are winding down for the season's first planting. Cucumbers are dried up, beans and peas are struggling. Figs have been added. They have a very short season, so get them now before they are gone. Second planting coming soon.
The following fruits and vegetables should be available at this week's Market:
Peaches, plums, cantaloupe, apples, pears, figs, grapes, potatoes, rattlesnake beans, peas, squash, green and red tomatoes, okra, eggplant, and watermelon. Baked goods will include zucchini bread, and other sweets. Of course, we will have freebies, and last minute additions.
Don't forget your reusable tote bag this Friday. I'm still giving away Market Money to those who bring your reusable tote bags for shopping.
