Hibbett Sports Inc. opened its newest store at 30 Walnut St. The store will employ around eight full- and part-time workers, according to the company.

Woodstock Police arrest a 32 yr old w/m of McCalla on Woodstock Estates Road for theft of mail from 3 different mailboxes. Hidden inside the jeep from was mail from 3 different mail boxes on Woodstock Estates Rd & Coldwater Road areas.

Bibb Co. man, Corbin Smith is charged with rape of 12-year-old Tennessee girl enters the Bibb County Court House.

Cahawba Christian Academy Athletics reports that lockers were taken from the school and that the lockers were for the weight room and locker rooms.
