 Gov. Robert Bentley announced his update plan to reform Medicaid in Alabama and that it will likely include some kind of work requirement. More than one million people are eligible for Medicaid in Alabama.Bibb County, which is a part of Region C, will be served on a probationary basis by Mental Health/Mental Retardation Board of Bibb, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa Counties.

Montevallo breaks ground on new $1.4 million City Hall, police building complex.

Construction plan call for a new single-level City Hall and police department complex totaling nearly 8,000 square feet to be built at their Main Street site.
The project is expected to be completed by summer of this year.
