More National Recognition.
Spotlight on BD&E.

The University & College Designers Association (UCDA) has recognized and awarded work BD&E developed for Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. Evaluated among nearly 1,100 print entries, "Neville Renewed" was chosen to appear in the 2016 UCDA Design Show. The show is part of the prominent 49th Annual Design Conference that gathers professionals in higher education design, marketing and communication to be held in San Antonio, Texas, in September.

Through strategic appeal methods that integrated postcards, brochures, letters, keepsake prints and a video, the efforts have played a critical role in the success of the overall campaign. To date, over $9.3 million has been raised for the restoration and expansion of Neville Hall ---- Presbyterian College's iconic academic building that stands in the heart of the campus.

BD&E is a member of the UCDA, which inspires designers working in academia in North America and around the world through thoughtful and relevant programming and benefits. The organization's focus aligns with the goals and strategies BD&E employs to enhance institutional branding and communication through effective, authentic and compelling design strategies.

Biking for A Cause

Congratulations! Way to Go! Awesome! BD&E is very proud of Michael Dicken, senior designer and project manager, who recently participated in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society "Don't just ride, Bike MS" Keystone Country Ride, an annual 150-mile biking event held July 23 & July 24.

Mike joined Team TPC, a five-member team that collectively raised over $7,000 for MS research. Mike was successful in completing the physically demanding race and, along with Team TPC, continues to help make a difference in the lives of those living with MS.

Catching Up with Bella
Dreams Really Do Come True!

I wish I had a puppy...I really wish I had a puppy...I really, really wish I had a puppy. Every night at bedtime, 5-year-old Shelby Rose DiPalma made her wish to someday have a puppy of her very own. Lo and behold! Her wish was granted, by none other than Aunt Tamara, and the queen of goodness (Bella, of course).

Violet, as Shelby lovingly named her new 9-week-old chocolate lab, has a thing or two to learn from Bella! For now, Bella continues to tolerate the boundless energy while slowly easing her protege into puppy boot camp.

Thanks for your time. We will catch up again next month. In the meantime, fire up the grill, chill the drinks and cheer on our Pittsburgh Pirates!

Brand Drives Everything

All the best,
BD&E
