The Redbuds Are Coming!

Spotlight on The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.

Downtown Pittsburgh's landscape is about to undergo an incredible transformation, and BD&E is excited to be an integral part of the effort.

Beginning in the spring of 2016, The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, along with a coalition of partners, will oversee the planting of hundreds of flowering redbud trees along the riverfronts in downtown Pittsburgh. This substantial initiative, funded by Colcom Foundation, is named the Pittsburgh Redbud Project, and it's going to dramatically enhance the natural beauty of Pittsburgh. The eventual result will be a spectacular new annual experience similar to the cherry blossoms in our nation's capital.

BD&E was honored to be selected by The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to develop the brand strategy, logo, promotional materials and social media campaign #PGHredbuds for the project.

Things officially kick off on Tuesday, April 19, at the Three Rivers Heritage Trail on the North Shore. Click here to learn more or volunteer.

Measure once, cut twice, or in Bella's case, just bark out those orders! Construction is underway at BD&E as we renovate our space to allow for additional offices.
