$150,000,000 and Counting.
Spotlight on Gustavus Adolphus College.

BD&E executives Jeff Flick and Kristina Martinez were in proud attendance as Gustavus Adolphus College celebrated the closing of Campaign Gustavus. In "Gustie style" the gathering was held at the American Swedish Institute in downtown Minneapolis, and was attended by distinguished guests, donors and friends of the College.

The campaign goal was set at $150 million---- no coincidence as it launched during the school's sesquicentennial year. Remarkably, the efforts of many were successful in surpassing that goal by an unprecedented $20 million! Now sited as the most successful and significant development effort in the history of the College, Campaign Gustavus reached a total of $170 million.

As part of the event, an appreciation video was created by BD&E to highlight the significance of the campaign and express gratitude to the more than 20,000 who heeded its call.

BD&E has been a strategic partner with Gustavus for more than six years, developing comprehensive branding, advertising, admissions marketing and development materials for the institution located in St. Peter, Minnesota.

Cool Experience.

As a player, Sadie Martinez has seen her share of hockey---- but this summer, she had the opportunity to see it from a unique perspective. As an intern in the Pittsburgh Penguins Media Department, Sadie worked in several areas including social media marketing, content development and the creation of media packets for the player prospect camp. A senior at Miami University, and a member of the Women's Hockey team (National Champion '13), Sadie looks forward to applying for graduate school in sports management.

Catching Up with Bella
Come on in, the water is...

Earlier this summer, Bella made a house call to help young Gracie overcome the fear of her backyard swimming hole. With guidance and patience, Bella lead by example. Although she was unable to make "the jump" into a fearless water dog, Gracie made strides that day. Click here to see the outcome of Bella's Intro to Swimming class.

Is there anything more entertaining than a Golden Retriever pool party?

We think not!

Thanks for your time. We will catch up again next month. In the meantime, enjoy the crisp autumn air and cheer for our home team...Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go!
