Spotlight on Thomas Nelson.   
With campuses in Hampton and Williamsburg, Virginia, Thomas Nelson is the fourth largest community college in Virginia. It is also one of the more than 30 colleges across the United States that BD&E has assisted with branding and marketing communications.

As part of BD&E's comprehensive effort at Thomas Nelson Community College, we rebranded the college as Thomas Nelson, added the identity signature "The Peninsula's Community College," and created the brandline "Success. It's closer than you think." We also designed a new logo, refined and extended the color palette, and added photography and B-Roll video to their asset pool. Earlier this month, this new brand was unveiled at commencement with a brand essence video. The brand is actively being launched into print, online and broadcast advertising, and promotional materials. It is also front and center on the college's newly redesigned website.

Welcome Mister Theo.

In March, Grady Jones, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Westminster College and BD&E client, welcomed a new addition to his family, grandson Theo. The entire growing clan is doing well, especially with the help of their doting G-parents.

Breaking Out of the Flick Family Business.

On May 10th, Jake Flick, the eldest (and tallest) son of BD&E's President & CEO, Jeff Flick, walked across the commencement stage at Geneva College and graduated with a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering. The following Monday he was already employed and working as a design engineer for an agricultural robotics firm headquartered in upstate New York. Shown here with his proud grandparents, Don & Shirley Flick, Jake is the first engineer in the entire Flick lineage.
 Catching Up with Bella
It's Almost Bella-kini Season...

We think it's finally safe to say that winter is over, but Bella's still trying to part with those few extra cold weather pounds. Although great for insulation, it is almost beach season, and aside from looking good in her bella-kini, we want Bella to be as happy and healthy as possible. So, we've been increasing her strolls around the office park and decreasing her intake of treats. But if you're in the office and just can't resist that smiling face and wagging tail, may we suggest a healthy carrot?
