An Exceptional Partnership
Spotlight on The Watson Institute.

The D.T. Watson Home for Crippled Children was established in 1917, and has been meeting the educational and medical needs of children with disabilities for more than 95 years.
In 1999, the organization was renamed The Watson Institute and BD&E was retained to develop the institution's overall branding and a new graphic identity. Shortly after the successful completion of that effort, Jeff Flick, President and CEO of BD&E, was approached to become a member of the Board of Trustees where he today serves as Vice Chairman.
Earlier this school year, BD&E designed new signage and teamed up with Sign Innovation for the fabrication and installation at The Watson Institute's Sewickley, Pennsylvania location. This new signage better aligns with the overall mission and values of The Watson Institute brand, and allows for students and families to locate the Center with ease.
