Strike Up the Band

Spotlight on Bethany College.

The Bethany College Stampede Marching Band arrived at the first home football game in style. Not only did they debut new music, they also showed off uniforms designed by BD&E.

BD&E collaborated with the Department of Fine and Performing Arts to develop the marching band's logo, along with its modern and functional uniforms. By incorporating school colors and the bison mascot, BD&E was able to successfully create school-spirited uniforms to complement the football team on game day.

Bethany music lecturer and director for the Pep Band and Wind Ensemble, J. Matthew White, serves as the director for the Stampede. He also provides instruction for Bethany students who study brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.

USA vs. Canada: We Won!!

Outside of the office, BD&E's Associate Creative Director Kirk Littell played in the annual Madeline Killian Memorial CAN-AM Soccer Cup ---- as in Canada vs. America. Team USA kicked off against the Brampton Ontario Colts at Highmark Stadium in early November. The match was the 4th meeting of the two teams who play each year to support the MS Society. This year, the odds were definitely in our favor as Kirk assisted on the game-winning goal as the USA defeated Canada 3-1. More than $1,200 was raised to fight Multiple Sclerosis.

 Catching Up with Bella
Homemade Stuffing, Mom's Way.

Bella loves Thanksgiving traditions ---- watching the action as everything cooks in the kitchen, sleeping through multiple football games and, most importantly, visiting with friends and family.

Of course, turkey is not part of her Thanksgiving tradition, she's more of the cranberry sauce type. In honor of the holiday, though, she wanted to share a world-famous stuffing recipe with you.

Click here for Mama Hout's delicious Traditional Holiday Stuffing Recipe.

Thanks for your time. We will catch up again next month. We hope you enjoy a Thanksgiving filled with good food, family, friends and football!
