The Department of Labor's (DOL) proposed paid sick leave Executive Order (EO 13706), took the next step toward 2016 implementation. The order requires federal prime contractors and subcontractors to permit workers employed on covered federal contracts and subcontracts of $2000 or more to accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
