Register for Webinar on Affordable Care Act Reporting Requirements

MCAA and the Groom Law Group, a nationally prominent ERISA employee benefits law firm in Washington D.C., will present a webinar for MCAA/MSCA members on December 9, 12:00 p.m. Eastern time. For the first time, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) requires employers with 50 or more full-time employees to file a return with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and issue annual statements to full-time employees about coverage available, by month, including the lowest employee cost offered for self-only coverage. Health insurers, multiemployer plans and employers that self-fund plans will also have to file an annual report with the IRS and issue annual statements to covered individuals indicating the calendar months in which they were enrolled in "minimum essential coverage" offered/sponsored by the issuer, plan, or employer. This webinar will help you understand your obligations under the ACA. This webinar is free as a benefit to MCAA and MSCA members.

The Bulletin explains the project delivery method, how it compares to Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build, its advantages and risks and suggestions for mechanical contractors to gain maximum benefits from this project management approach. Management Methods Bulletins are free for MCAA and MSCA members as a benefit.
ALI Course 16 Opens Soon_
ALI Course 15 Graduates 37 New Industry Leaders

MCAA's Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) continues its impressive success of recent years by graduating 37 of our industry's newest leaders. The graduates were the first to experience the "new" ALI, with its revamped curriculum and new faculty. Reviews for ALI "Version 2" were spectacular. ALI Committee Chair Jody Ralston praised the vision of the committee for the innovations they introduced into the course, and she was particularly glowing for the reinvigorated relationship between MCAA and Babson Executive Education. "They [Babson] really listened to us and appreciated our desire for more peer-to-peer interactions and personal feedback experiences for the attendees and the program made a strong impression on the class! Now, it's time to tee it up for Course 16." ALI Course 16 will be held September 25-29 and November 13-18, 2016, so save the dates. New online applications are being finalized and will be announced in the National Update, so stay tuned!

He will also recap all six sessions to illustrate how the concepts work together to create an effective team. These webinars are free to MSCA and MCAA members as a benefit.
