Can You and Your Company Cope with Transition? Robert Wendover Can Help

Robert Wendover Can Help You and Your Company Cope with Transition Businesses in our industry are facing some of the most challenging transition issues of recent times. At MCAA 2015 (March 8-12, Wailea, Maui, HI), Robert Wendover will lead three sessions dedicated to helping you rethink your priorities about managing a very young workforce, transferring knowledge and making better and smarter decisions. In his session Knowledge Transfer and the Emerging Generations, Wendover will explain the difficulty of conveying your company's most valuable asset - knowledge - from the older generation of workers to media-dependent young workers and how leading companies are successfully overcoming this transitional barrier. Delving deeper into the Millennial mind is the subject of another session. Wendover will provide perspectives and information about how this emerging generation thinks and learns so that you can better connect with and train them to meet and exceed your business expectations. In Making Smart Decisions in a Dumbed-Down World, Wendover will share with you great insights and tips about how to work out solutions to everyday problems using common sense and logical thinking rather than relying on your SmartPhone or laptop. Learn more about these fascinating and valuable sessions - as well as the other extraordinary business oriented sessions - in the MCAA 2015 Convention Planning Guide at http://www.mcaa.org/mcaa2015 and then register.  Great rooms with amazing views are still available at the Andaz and the Wailea Beach Marriott.

MCAA/CNA Safety Awards Program is Now Open!

The competition for the most prestigious safety awards in the mechanical construction and service industry is now open. MCAA and CNA (the endorsed insurance carrier for MCAA) are collaborating again to provide the Annual Safety Awards program. Awards are based on each participating company's safety performance in 2014, and all MCAA/MSCA members are eligible to compete. Participating companies submit an application that includes a brief description of the company and its safety program, a statement about why the company deserves a top safety award and a brief description of an innovative safety initiative implemented by the company in 2014. The MCAA/CNA Safety Awards Selection Taskforce will select the winners. MCAA is now accepting applications. If you plan to compete, please visit www.mcaa.org/safetyawards. Completed applications are due to MCAA by the close of business on January 6, 2015.
