MCAA National Update for January 6, 2014
MCAA 2014
THREE NEW SESSIONS ADDED TO BOOST YOUR BUSINESS AT MCAA 2014

(March 9-13, Scottsdale, AZ). The ideas, techniques and strategies covered in three new sessions will suggest: the reasons for and ways to adopt mobile technologies that will enhance communications between your field personnel and your office; how to best leverage incentive compensation to reward personnel and attract the best talent; and new opportunities available for your company to reach out to current and potential customers. Demystifying Mobile Technologies, led by MCAA technology Committee member Larry Gunthorpe, will help you understand the most promising aspects of mobile devices for field operations, particularly as they affect communications among your project manager, foreman and the main office. You will also learn how to plan for future technology changes. FMI's Managing Director Sal DiFonzo is back with a new session-Common Practices and the Effectiveness of Incentive Compensation-that will answer your questions and reveal the results of a recent survey to help you create an incentive plan that supports your strategic objectives, motivates attainment of stretch goals, provides desired returns and behaviors and yields results. During Twitter 101, Mandy Stahl will help you learn the basics of this amazing social networking tool so you can connect with your professional and personal networks, find the information you want and get your questions answered. Find out more about these and other business-building sessions planned for MCAA 2014 and then register at www.mcaa.org/mcaa2014.

Presented by the Hilgeman Group, the session covers applicable OSHA and NFPA requirements, best practices and NFPA's recent changes to the 70E requirements and provides participants with real-world accident information that will reinforce the importance of this training. Register by contacting ahilgeman@frontier.com.
