MCAA 2013 IS YOUR ONE STOP TO LEARN, RELAX, ENJOY

MCAA 2013MCAA 2013 (March 17-21, San Antonio, TX) has it all: outstanding educational sessions that stress unconventional thinking and ideas about helping your business grow and thrive (i.e., tips about how to protect your business' finances, new ways to pay and reward your best people, making the most of the new digital tools available, how to find and keep young professional talent, why you need to rethink project planning strategies and much more); a beautiful, new resort with amazing recreational facilities-including two top-rated TPC golf courses, a world-class spa and a variety of pools for every level of relaxation-and a great location that's just far enough away from the city's hubbub. We know you don't want to miss this, so don't! The regular registration deadline is almost here and rooms are available, so go to www.mcaa.org/mcaa2013 for program details and to register.

2013 NCPWB ANNUAL TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEETING FEATURES WELDING ISSUES, CERTIFICATIONS, CODES
Plan to attend the 2013 NCPWB Annual Technical Meeting in Colorado Springs, CO (April 21-23) for information about current welding, brazing and certification issues. Jaime Valdivia, International Representative of the National Inspection Testing and Certification (NITC), will discuss medical gas certifications. The session will also address changes and prerequisites involved with the American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) Professional Qualification Standards for Medical Gas Systems Personnel and the necessary steps for test development of these standards. The NITC credentials that are recognized and, at times, required by states for the installation, inspection and verification of medical gas systems in health care facilities across the country will also be covered. Find out more and register at www.mcaa.org/education.

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR NEXT NFPA 70E QUALIFIED-LEVEL ARC FLASH SAFETY TRAINING WEBINARS

Your service technicians still have time to register for the NFPA 70E Qualified-Level Arc Flash Safety Training webinars on February 19 (at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Eastern time). A special rate applies for MCAA/MSCA members. Register by e-mailing ahilgeman@frontier.com.

TOP INDUSTRY ISSUES ARE CENTER-STAGE AT THE NATIONAL ISSUES CONFERENCE

In addition to issues briefings, attendees will have an opportunity to share their concerns about their most important business concerns with their U.S. House and Senate representatives and staff.
