2013 SAFETY AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES TOP SAFETY ACHIEVERS
If your company achieved exceptional safety program milestones in 2012, then be sure it's entered into MCAA'sannual Safety Awards Program. MCAA and CNA are co-sponsoring the program to recognize contractor members that have achieved excellence in managing safe operations throughout their businesses. If your program meets the eligibility requirements for a safety award, you will automatically receive a safety awards application electronically. Completed applications are due by February 18. TWEET/GAROT MECHANICAL ACHIEVES ANOTHER SAFETY MILESTONE Tweet/Garot Mechanical, Inc. (Green Bay, WI) recently reported an exceptional safety achievement-seven million safe hours without a lost-time incident spanning a 10-year period. Tweet/Garot CEO Tim Howald and Safety Director Gabe Gutenberger attributed the company's safety success to its "constantly improving safety program and the 'relentless safety dedication'" of its employees. Tweet/Garot introduced its Zero Injury program in 2004, which has made workplace safety an ever-evolving and improving process.
