During another session-The Art of the Steal-Abagnale will tell you about his career and experiences as a thief and confidence man. You can't afford to miss these sessions, so don't! LEARN ABOUT BIM WITHOUT LEAVING HOME

MCAA's National Education Initiative (NEI) is making it possible for you to learn vital information about Building Information Modeling (BIM) without taking time from your business to travel out of town. NEI has introduced five new courses under its BIM for Mechanical Contractors series that will be available to local affiliates and individual contractors. Pete Mackenzie (recently retired from Mechanical Inc., Freeport, IL) will be the lead instructor and coordinator for the new series. The new courses are: Kick-starting BIM Because You Must, Getting the Most from BIM Project Execution Plans, Implementing and Managing the BIM Process Within Your Organization, It's All in the Details: Understanding, Staffing and Training BIM Detailers and BIM Risk Management and Avoidance. To schedule a course, contact Pete MacKenzie directly (pmackenzie@mcaa.org). Course descriptions and scheduling information can be found at www.mcaa.org/nei/bim. For more information, contact Dennis Langley (dlangley@mcaa.org).

MAKE ALI A TOP PRIORITY FOR 2013
It's not too early to start planning your company's education priorities for 2013, and when you do, be sure to put MCAA's Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) at the top of your list. Since 2000, ALI has been one of the most effective weapons in our industry's arsenal to help industry executives develop the leadership and business planning skills that enable them to take on new challenges and opportunities. The refined course curriculum, featuring a new and very challenging case study, along with excellent networking opportunities bring a new dimension to the experience of acquiring leadership and strategic planning skills. Make sure your company has what it takes to move up and ahead. Send in an application for yourself and/or one of your executives for a seat in ALI's Course 13 (September 22-27 and November 10 - 1, 2013). Go to http://www.mcaa.org/ali/ for more information about ALI and then contact Dennis Langley (dlangley@mcaa.org) for an e-application.
