CIS Family,

It is that time of year again where we decide on the following year's calendar! Please take minute to review the proposed calendar for next year.

Something we need to consider is the timing of the start of the school year: August 10 or August 17. The calendar closely follows the APS calendar for 2015-16. APS will begin on August 13th.

Contact your SAC representative with your thoughts as soon as possible!

Science Fair & Family Science Night

Tomorrow is the Science Fair! Students presenting at science fair tomorrow should be at school by five to set up their presentations/boards.

Family Science Night demonstrations courtesy of Sandia National Labs will begin at 6pm in the MPR!

Jog-A-Thon

Please make sure to turn in Jog-A-Thon permission slips by tomorrow! Students without a signed permission slip will not be allowed to participate.

Due to an unfortunate lack of volunteers for this year's Jog-A-Thon there has been a change plans to better accommodate the time and schedules of those who have signed up to volunteer. The color run portion of the Jog-A-Thon will no longer take place, and will be replaced instead with a Color theme. Students will be allowed to dress in their most colorful outfits. One prize will be awarded to the most artistic and original costume in PYP as well as MYP.
