RULES FOR PARENTS AND OTHER ADULT VISITORS ON CAMPUS
Corrales International School is an excellent school and we expect that adults model appropriate behavior for children at all times. Here's a quick list of expectations that all adult visitors to the Corrales International School must follow:
♥ You must sign in at the office and get a visitors pass if you plan to be on campus during the school day. You do not have to sign in if you are only here during pick up or drop off times.
♥ You should always use crosswalks and sidewalks even in the parking lot. Never cross between parked cars or moving traffic.
♥ Do not smoke or drink on campus.
♥ Turn off the sound on your cell phone when volunteering in class. Exit a classroom before answering a cell call.
♥ Never interrupt instructional time with personal matters. Make an appointment to see the teacher during non-teaching time or call the office.
♥ You cannot park your car in the parking lot during pick up or drop off times, 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. -3:45 p.m.
♥ The front parking lot is closed to traffic during pick up and drop off times (7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. -3:45 p.m.).
♥ You should never try to discipline children that do not belong to you. If you have any difficulty with another child talk to a teacher or Dr. Diaz. Do not handle it yourself.
♥ When signing a child out early, you may be asked to present a photo ID until the office gets to know you. Always have your ID with you when on campus.
♥ Be on time each morning and pick up your children on time each afternoon. Office staff cannot supervise your children.
♥ Try to have your child at school each day, ALL DAY, unless absolutely necessary.
♥ DOGS large, small, tiny, cute, or fuzzy are not allowed on our campus.
♥ Please be aware that little eyes and ears see and hear you. Be careful what you do and the kinds of words you say when on campus. Be an example at all times.
These rules only exist because they have become critical issues for our school. Help us keep Corrales International School and its students' safe and successful at all times!
