It was truly wonderful to share with you all the excitement of creating a new space for our CIS family! It was great to see so many friendly faces at recent events!

Thank you to Abbie Jackson and all of her volunteers, especially the Mathena family who was able to bring Star Wars celebrities to the jog-a-thon to cheer on our kids! Once again, this event was a fantastic community building and fundraising event!

Also don't forget the KIDS ONLY TRIATHLON: MAY 17

This is another major fundraiser for our school is the Kids Triathlon sponsored by our CIS Foundation. This event raises funds for our new school and helps the NM Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

The second annual Kids Only Triathlon is for children ages 3-12 at the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center. This is a a fun family event that introduces kids to triathlons and helps both our school and the NM Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Go to the website below to register your kids. Spring MAP Testing

It is that time again! The final set of Measure of Academic Progress testing for the school year will begin TOMORROW! Click here for the testing schedule.

Please remember that our kids need good sleep, a healthy breakfast, and of course brain-boosting healthy snacks for testing! Please drop off your healthy snacks with Miss Patti as soon as you can and remember we are a nut-free school! SIGN UP HERE!

PTA Meeting

The last PTA meeting of the school year will be held on Monday at 3:30 pm in the NW Portable and free childcare will be available! Topics of discussion will be Staff Appreciation, Award Ceremonies/Celebration of Excellence and Brick Purchase Approval, the Last Day of School (Field Day) and approal of the Summer School Budget will be voted on.

SUMMER CAMP

PASSPORT TO SUMMER!

9 week Spanish Summer Camp sponsored by CIS PTA

This dual-language Summer Camp will include lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities such as messy science projects, cultural exploration, games, arts & crafts, music, performing arts, cooking and water play! Campers will practice their Spanish with peers and bilingual Camp Counselors in an active engaging day camp atmosphere!
