PICK-UP TIME

Parents it is essential that when you pick up your child/children they stay with you at all times.  Students left unattended on school property will be escorted to Permaculture Club and a fee will be charged.

MYP students who do not attend tutoring or an after-school club will also be escorted to Permaculture Club
and a fee will be charged.

Our school policy is to have all students supervised at all times and we can not have students wondering in the halls or playground unsupervised.

ATTENDANCE

Every day counts in March, April and May.
Please make every effort to ensure your child is present and on time.

Friendly Reminder:  Family Vacations are unexcused absences!

Dear CIS Families:

We are at the home stretch for our NMSBA testing.  Our students are doing AMAZING!   The final testing will be Monday and Tuesday.  Please help by sending a nutritious snack for our students.  These are some items you can send: small bottles of water, apples, oranges, animal crackers, breakfast bars (w/out peanuts)

All students deserve to go into testing with the benefit of brain-boosting snacks!  Just click on this link to sign up to bring a NUTRITIOUS SNACK FOR OUR STUDENTS

We have so many wonderful programs and activities that we offer at Corrales International School because of the hard work of our PTA members and executive board.   The fundraisers are designed to help us provide interesting and educational programs and activities. All our after school clubs and sports are supported through the PTA Fundraisers. Science and Family Math nights are some of our favorite events and also our FIELD TRIPS! Come to the PTA meeting on Monday at 3:30 and participate!

JOG-A-THON: APRIL 25
The Jog-A-Thon is our largest fundraiser where families, friends and neighbors pledge money to support the students as they jog or walk in the Jog-A-Thon.  CIS students run (or jog, walk, skip, etc.) laps around our playground.

How do we raise money? Before the day of the Jog-A-Thon, each student obtains pledges and donations in support of his/her Jog-A-Thon efforts. Sponsors may sign up to pledge a flat dollar amount and/or a per lap donation. Our goal is to raise at least $9,000. ALL of the money raised will go back directly into PTA to fund our new playground at our NEW SCHOOL!

PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES!  After the Jog-A-Thon, students will have the opportunity to earn prizes as a way for the PTA to say "thank you" for their hard work in doing their best to help their school and for collecting their pledges on time.

KIDS ONLY TRIATHLON: MAY 17
Another major fundraiser  for our school is the Kids only Triathlon sponsored by our CIS Foundation.   This event raises funds for our new school and helps the NM Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

JOG-A-THON
Hello CIS families!

It's that time of year again...Jog-A-Thon! As many of you know Jog-A-Thon is our school's biggest PTA fundraiser of the year, and this year all proceeds will go towards playground equipment for our new building!

Last year our amazing students brought in close to $8500 and this year (since we are so awesome), we're hoping to exceed that amount. We need all the help we can get from our fabulous CIS families though!

We need help in securing donations and general planning of the event. This year's event is scheduled for April 25th the we will have an Earth Day theme. If you are interesting in assisting please contact me at 505-903-2787 or abbiej76@comcast.net.
