BackPack Express for Corrales International School

Dear CIS Families,

I want to thank you for all your continued support and for believing in our Corrales International School community.   It has been so wonderful to see many of you at the events over the past week --the Pancake Breakfast, the Auction Preview Dinner, and the awesome Winter Performance and Art Auction!

There are so many people have worked so hard in the last few weeks to support the move to our new building that I couldn't possibly list them all.

I would like to thank Liza Volkmann for coordinating a great shop-n-stroll event for our kids.

Thank you to Jennifer and Dominic Sandoval for serving hot pancakes to our community and raising funds for our new facility!

I would like to thank CIS Parent Anna Prewitt for dedicating countless hours to bring together the Auction Preview Dinner and the Art Auction for the CIS Foundation.

Thank you to CIS Art Teacher, Norma Giannini, for her amazing work with the kids and for going above and beyond in supporting CIS.  Thank you to Louie Giannini for his donated time and effort for our school.

Thank you to CIS music instructor, Mati Heck, for all of her work preparing our kids for their winter performance and for she and her partner, Ozzie Oswald, donating the fee for the South Broadway Cultural Center for our event.

Thank you to CIS Drama Teacher, Ruth Roberts, for her work directing the student musical!  Thank you to her husband, Rick Roberts, for Art donations to support our art auction.

Thank you to CIS Parent, Linda Kehoe, for a successful Book Fair!

Please join me in thanking all of these people as you run into them in our hallways!

Thank you to all of the CIS community that came together to volunteer time, materials, and efforts for each of these events!  YOU make all of the difference for our kids.

Sincerely,

Dr. Elsy Fierro Diaz, Head of School
Corrales International School
