Dear CIS Families,
I want to thank you for all your continued support and for believing in Corrales International School. I hope you can attend the upcoming family activities and help us celebrate our amazing school community with your attendance and volunteerism. Remember it really does take a "village" to raise a child.
How you can help.
I want to remind you of the two important events happening today and Saturday. These are great events to help build our school community and our permanent home. Please support your school by joining us tonight and bringing your children to participate in Saturday's Winter School performance!
This year's winter performance by CIS students will be a musical production of "Snow Way Out" at the South Broadway Cultural Center (1025 Broadway SE) on Saturday, December 14! This wonderful community event will also coincide with a Silent Auction of amazing student art, plus much more!
A fun family day to support our fabulous IB, dual language charter school as we raise money for our new facility! The Silent Art Auction begins at 12:30pm, with the first performance at1:30, and the second performance at 3:00. PYP students have been assigned to one performance only, based on last name. MYP students will be attending both sessions.
Tickets for this event are $5 per person if purchased by Friday. If you would like to attend BOTH performances, the rate is $7 total for the two performances if purchased in advance. Tickets at the door will be $7 for one show and $10 for both. Performing students do not need to purchase a ticket.
BECAUSE EACH CLASS IS DIVIDED INTO TWO, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT AS MANY STUDENTS AS POSSIBLE ATTEND.
Please encourage your child to attend this performance, as everyone--children and adults alike--have worked very hard to create a wonderful event for our community. We are all looking forward to a great show and we need everyone to make it happen!
