Another Fabulous Walk!

For the second weekend in a row a Walk morning dawned on grey skies, but the rain held off.  But it wasn't the weather that made the day special. The October 27 Columbia Greene Walk to End Alzheimer's blew it's goal sky high and raised over $11,000 by the day's end.

Visit the Columbia Greene Walk Photo Album on Facebook.

After all the counting was done, we learned that over 1400 people attended the Capital Region Walk to End Alzheimer's at Siena College on October 20. We are very pleased to announce that, as of this afternoon, the Capital Region Walk has raised over $190,000!  We would love to nudge that over the $200,000 line this week!

Don't Forget:  You have until November 19 to meet your goal for the Capital Region Walk, and until November 24 to continue fundraising for the Columbia Green Walk. Donate to the Capital Region Walk to End Alzheimer's at www.alzwalkneny.org or the Columbia Greene Walk at www.alzwalkcg.org.

Thanks, again, to everyone who made these Walk Days so special.

November is National Family Caregivers Month.  Honor the Caregivers You Know.

November has been declared National Family Caregivers Month. This special month draws attention to the compassion and dedication of those who care for loved ones unable to care for themselves.  We hope you'll reflect on the love and commitment of those you know who are caring for others and take some time to let them know how much you admire them.
