some football?

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29 when the age old rivalry takes to the field once again to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Last year, in our first  Blondes vs. Brunettes game, the Brunette Bombers walked away with the trophy.  Word has it the the Blonde Bombshells are sneaking in extra practices with the object of evening the tally.  Don't miss the fun and action!

The big game will kick off at 5 pm at Saratoga High School and feature entertainment by DJ Jack Burt. The Joytones, our chorus for people with memory loss and their singing partners, will perform the national anthem. At halftime, Mangino's is sponsoring an opportunity to win a car.  And when the score is settled, there will be a post game celebration with music by The Schmooze.

Final details are being settled and tickets to both the game and the post game celebration will be available for advance purchase online next week.  Watch our website for more details on tickets.

An Information Resource for
Funeral Pre-Planning in New York State

Pre-planning a funeral is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. Whether it is for you or a loved one, the first step is obtaining all the necessary information to make an informed decision.

Thousands of New Yorkers are choosing to pre-plan/pre-pay their funeral and burial expenses, recognizing it as smart financial planning and a source of great emotional relief for themselves and their loved ones. Pre-paying your funeral will allow you to make your own funeral plans, but, more importantly, pre-planning will spare surviving relatives and loved ones the emotional burden of having to make decisions at a time of great stress and grief.

Laws and regulations differ by state and conflicting information can make it difficult and confusing to make safe and trustworthy decisions about pre-planning. More than any other state, consumers in New York who prefund their funerals have their money protected by the strongest laws in the nation.

Learn more about pre-planning and pre-funding a funeral. Download "A Consumer's Guide to Preplanning a Funeral" or visit the New York State Funeral Directors Association at www.nysfda.org.
