We are planning company visits with students in Richmond this summer with CarMax, Target and Dominion. Any students interested in participating, email Stuart Mease (smease@vt.edu) to be added to the list. Many students have received interviews, internships, and jobs through these visits. What are Company Visits?
The company visits allow employers to showcase their company and opportunity on their turf for any intersted students. For studnets, it's an opportunity to learn more about a company on site.
What Do I Have to Do on these Visits?
Provide your own transportation at show up at the designated time and address in business casual attire with a resume and ID. During the info session and tour, ask questions to employers. It's not a formal interview just an opportunity to learn. No pressure.
What Do I Get?
You will receive valuable experience in a business setting, contact with key company officials, a future opportunity to potentailly interview for internships and full-time jobs and free food and swag.
How Do I Register?
Send Stuart Mease an email at smease@vt.edu with your name, major, year. Just make sure you actually attend after registering as we are saving a spot for you and sharing your name with the employer.
