The Business Horizons Spring Fair will be held on Wednesday, January 27th from 1pm-6pm in the Commonwealth Ballroom in Squires Student Center. Interviews will be held in the same space on Thursday, January 28th.

Download the Business Horizons app by visiting your provider's app store to keep an up to date view of companies attending the fair. Begin your research now!
January 19-January 26th: Resume review tables will be set up in the atrium. Stop by to have your resume looked over by Pamplin Career Services or a Company Recruiter from 10am-2pm.
January 19-January 26th: Company Days (see detailed list below). Stop by the Pamplin Atrium from 10am-2pm to visit with company recruiters.
Thursday, January 21st: Business Horizons Student Volunteer Sign-ups! Free T-Shirt and a chance to be involved with one of the largest events on campus. Sign ups begin at 6:30pm in Pamplin 33. Arrive early to learn more and select your shift for the day of the fair.
Thursday, January 21st: Pamplin Career Services and PwC will host a Business Horizons Career Fair Prep Workshop from 5-6pm in Pamplin 1045.

Company Days in the Pamplin Atrium
Company Days are when firms come to the Pamplin Atrium and setup booths for students to learn more about their employment opportunities. Firms will distribute food, swag and info about their company. This is a great opportunity to connect with recruiters in an informal way. Firms will typically be there from 10am-2pm each day.

2015 Post-Graduate Survey Data
You have seen the sheet we distribute in classes sharing placement and starting salary rates of students graduating before you. Those new numbers have been update for the most recent graduating class.
The placement rate of Pamplin graduates seeking employment from 2015 is 90% up from 89%. The median starting salary is $56,500 up from $51,000.
Specifically, here is the breakdown by major:
ACIS - 93%, $56,500 BIT - 91%, $62,000 FIN - 93%, $56,500 HTM - 81%, $44,000 MGT - 84%, $51,500 MKTG - 93%, $45,000
I have seen this data used to negotiate higher salaries, pick majors and double majors, select companies to apply and interview. It's our scorecard. When the time comes for your to take the survey, please invest the time. It's so helpful. Thanks!
