Business Horizons Spring Career Fair is only 7 Weeks Away on January 27th 2016!
The Business Horizons Spring Career Fair will be held on Wednesday January 27, 2016. Register now by visiting BusinessHorizons.org.

Interviews will be held on Thursday, January 28. To reserve interview space, please email Sarah Messer at sgkarlin@vt.edu.

Due to event spacing, if you plan to bring more than a handful of reps, I strongly encourage you to reserve 2 or 3 booths for the event. Multiple booths will be placed side-by-side. This will help with traffic flow for students and your neighbor exhibitors. Additionally, we will only be accepting payment by credit card.

Each year our fairs sellout. We only have 120 booths for this spring fair compared to the 160 in the fall. We are about half-full and expect booths to go quickly once budgets reset for 2016. Therefore, I urge you to act now and register early.

Thank you for your interest in our students, and we look forward to seeing you this Spring!

Brand Your Firm in the Collegiate Times
Business Horizons has partnered with Virginia Tech's school newspaper, The Collegiate Times, to create an opportunity to showcase company participation in the career fair this Spring.

A special job fair insert will run in the university newspaper the day before the job fair on Jan 26. The insert will be given to all students as they check in at the fair on Jan 27.

Nancy Scandura of MediaMate (nscandura@mymediamate.com) will be in touch with registrants to provide additional opportunities to brand your company and stand out in this unique way.
Bloomberg BusinessWeek Employer Survey
Pamplin Career Services want you to be aware of the possibility of receiving an email from Bloomberg BusinessWeek to participate in the Undergraduate Employer Survey. We just wanted to know about this email and survey.
Virginia Tech Pamplin Company Visits
Pamplin Career Services is committed to visiting our employers onsite. We are in the process of planning our winter break and spring visits. If you are interested in a visit to discuss ways to increase your yield from recruiting at Virginia Tech Pamplin, then please contact Jennifer Carty (jcarty@vt.edu).
Employer Podcast Presentations
Are you an employer interested in connecting with students while you are away from campus?

Podcast/WebEx presentations are hosted by Career Services to allow companies the opportunity to spend 5-10 minutes pitching their organization and particular employment opportunities to an audience of Pamplin students.  Podcasts are recorded and made accessible to all Pamplin students.

If you are interested in speaking about your company or co-hosting a Podcast on a particular career related topic in the spring semester, please reach out to Jennifer Carty (jcarty@vt.edu).
Speaking to Classes and Student Groups
Here is the list of Pamplin student groups and clubs,  and a partial list of professors open to employers speaking in their meetings/classrooms for the Spring 2016 semester. To schedule, please contact directly.
