Students Still Seeking Employment
|

At this point in the semester, many students have accepted an internship or full-time position. If you have not secured a position yet, it's not too late! You can still take advantage of opportunities to connect with companies. Start with this list:
Stop by the remaining Company Days for the opportunity to speak with company recruiters in the Pamplin atrium.
Attend company information sessions on campus.
Check Hokies4Hire regularly for new opportunities.
Read through Career Connect and follow up on new opportunities.
Attend workshops, update your resume and LinkedIn profile, and begin to prepare for Spring Business Horizons.
Participate in Pamplin Career Services hosted WebEx's for an opportunity to hear directly from company recruiters that still have internships and full-time jobs available for students. The next WebEx is scheduled for Friday October 30th at 11am. For full details about the WebEx click here.

Chantal Ghoussoub is a Product Owner at Capital One in Richmond, VA where she delivers software solutions in the Commercial Banking industry. She joined the company in 2014 through one of their campus new hire programs, the Project Management Development Program.

Company Days are when firms come to the Pamplin Atrium and setup booths for students to learn more about their employment opportunities. Firms will distribute food, swag and info about their company. This is a great opportunity to connect with recruiters in an informal way. Firms will typically be there from 10am-2pm each day.
